PUSHING 9 to 5 BOUNDARIES A LITTLE FURTHER

Being an old school, my Dad once said that wedding planning is not a real job. That sentence made me laugh at the time, and I still remember it here and there.

The night before the wedding was a huge success. We sailed out to watch the sunset; and dine and dance under the stars.

Sometime around midnight, the couple’s friend who was to officiate the ceremony, remembered that it would be nice if an additional page was added to the already printed and hand tied order of service.
I had no heart to say no, the whole planning journey with this couple was so enjoyable, I wouldn’t let 150 pages extra stand in the way. Thankfully, I had a colour printer and Zeljko to help. By 4:30am, all 150 orders of service were ready.

At 6:30am, we woke up to make sure all flowers, tables and chairs were on the pier, ready to be moved to the islet where the wedding was to take place. Restaurant crew was at the same time taking care of food and average supplies.
We were working on autopilot at first and we all do look a little grumpy in the beginning, but hey, I managed to sneak a coffee and it was sunny, what more could anyone wish for a soon to be a perfect wedding day?
After all, it’s not meant to be a real job, and I would not have it any different.

Thank you to Deneemotion for filming behind the scene footage for this promo, it’s a beautiful reminder and it brings happy memories with Vincent and Theresa!
